'Light on the Horizon' 12x16"

'Light on the Horizon' 12x16"

This winter I was inspired by black and white tinted photography and mist. In this exploration I created 'Light on the Horizon' which showed at the Maple Ridge ACT Gallery for the 'We Begin Again' group show. The theme about returning to life after isolation and how that feels. This inspired me to see the soft, nostalgic meadow with a gentle horse as symbolic of a quiet, solitary and muted life, while the rose tinted sky in the distance suggests ever so slightly a warmth of things to come.

Along with it's companion entitled 'Light in the distance' this acrylic work is a dream like piece that will add a soft and soothing touch to your space. Perhaps it will remind you that the quiet times we were forced to live deserve a bit of space in our hectic lives.

12x16" acrylic on deep gallery canvas. Ready to hang.

Unframed - painted on canvas with quality artist materials.
