As a mother I have cherished watching my own four daughters develop their personal interests. My third daughter's fascination with horses influenced this piece. With her as my muse I created an evening of fireflies and weeping willows with a friendly white horse by her side. Who knows? Maybe her dreams will come true. At least, in painting her a little of mine certainly did. And in painting, I get to stay connected to the girl I still am. I hope you will too.
